ACT SEMINAR "PREP FOR THE FUTURE"
Sycamore Learning Company is offering an ACT Seminar at LPHS, March 31 & April 1st, 3:15pm - 5:45pm. These 5-hour seminars are designed to help students prepare for the upcoming ACT with specific strategies to maximize scoring on each section of these tests. The cost for the seminar is $79. Mailers were sent home to all Juniors.

PIKES PEAK COMMUNITY COLLEGE - APPLICATION DAY
On March 12th Kevin Hudgens from Pikes Peak Community College will be at LPHS for an Application Day. He will be available to meet with students to complete their admissions application, review their ACT scores, and talk about the next steps for enrolling (i.e. financial aid and placement testing). This format gives the students a chance to discuss individual concerns, get questions answered about their particular degree and major, and actually complete a concrete step towards enrolling in college.

SENIORS, October is College Application Month! It is important to start the College Application Process NOW.
It is never too early to start exploring post-secondary opportunities. Sign up to meet a College Admissions Representative and gain a better understanding of what you should be doing NOW to increase your chances for success later!

Important Transcript Information!!
SENIORS! Please follow the steps below when ordering your transcripts for colleges:
1. See Mrs. Sciacca, School Registrar, after you have completed your college or scholarship applications.
2. Pay $3.00 for each official transcript, allowing a minimum of 48 hours for the work order to be completed.
3. Bring Mrs. Sciacca the SENDEDU FORM for electronic submissions of your transcript and school profile; OR bring the completed mailing address for where you would like the transcript sent.
College Reps at LPHS!
Many colleges and universities from across the country and the state have made arrangements to visit LPHS! Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about different schools without leaving the building. Students wanting to meet with an admissions representative must sign up in Naviance and print off their confirmation. Bring your confirmation to class and have your teacher sign it before leaving to meet with a representative. See your counselor if you are having difficulty getting onto Naviance. A list of schools that have scheduled visits can be found on Naviance.
